A solar generator is one of the most important pieces of overlanding gear — but the wrong size will leave you frustrated. Here's how to pick the right one.
What Is a Solar Generator?
A solar generator combines a battery pack + inverter + charge controller in one unit. Pair it with solar panels and you have clean, silent power anywhere — no fuel required.
Step 1: Calculate Your Power Needs
List everything you plan to power and for how long:
